2012 SWID Summit

On May 2, 2012 in Campbell, CA, USA the second annual Software ID Summit will be held under the motto "Breaking through the fog of misinformation!" And Aspera is proud to be a sponsor of the event for the second year in a row.

This year's summit focuses on software security and software publisher benefits of TagVault.org certified software identification (SWID) tags. Industry experts will provide details on how certified ISO SWID tags are used to improve software assurance processes and mitigate the risks and costs of software ownership.

The keynote will be given by Richard Struse, Deputy Director for Software Assurance for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's National Cyber Security Division. Presenters will go into detail about how software publishers benefit by including TagVault.org certified SWID tags with their software products.
