Inside the Gartner Magic Quadrant for SAM Tools | 5 Insights from Aspera
We believe that the Software Asset Management business case is strongly positioned by the Gartner Magic Quadrant for SAM Tools 2019. According to Gartner, “Software asset management tools are essential for the management of increasingly complex software-licensing metrics."

As we take a closer look at the Gartner Magic Quadrant for SAM Tools, we’d like to share our own 5 insights for selecting a software license management tool.
1. Dig deeper: what we think our recognition in the Gartner Magic Quadrant really means
While we believe that the Gartner Magic Quadrant is wonderful at quick glance, it’s our view that people who take Software Asset Management seriously understand that the Magic Quadrant’s full significance is in the Gartner Software Asset Management analysis. It’s our view that this analysis doesn’t necessarily reveal who the best SAM provider is, but rather can help you decide which SAM provider is best suited to meet your company’s individual Software Asset Management needs.
