The Secret Sauce: How to Drive Superior SAM Results with Limited Resources

Session Overview: The challenges of managing software in cloud and hybrid environments puts growing pressure on IT and procurement leaders to control unused software overspend, forecast demand, and protect against audits. This increased focus on IT efficiency has generated a global Software Asset Management (SAM) skill shortage, exposing organizations to financial and operational risk. This session explains how to deliver impactful results using a customized solution of SAM Managed Services and Support:

  • Assess your SAM maturity level - Manage tool operation, data management, usage & demand
  • Understand entitlements & complex contracts, balance creation, and optimization
  • Navigate vendor scenarios such as software audits, contract negotiation, true-ups, or portfolio changes (e.g. like Oracle Java)
