Rich features and reports allow users to ensure compliance, optimize software spend, and create transparent chargeback formulae for IT services.

As a long-time license compliance auditor for major software vendors, KPMG is very familiar with typical software asset management (SAM) challenges. Based on this experience and in cooperation with major software brands KPMG in Cologne, Germany developed the SAM Tool Assessment to test the capabilities of third-party technologies to ensure software license compliance. Only tools that reach 95 percent or more in both portions of the assessment are certified.
