Aspera and Magelan join forces in strategic partnership for increased demand in software licence management

Aachen/Munich, Germany, 12 May 2016

Aspera, a pioneer in strategic SAM solutions and one of the world’s leading providers in this sector, and Magelan, a highly-specialised IT services and consulting company in IT asset and IT service management, have signed a partnership agreement in software licence management. Both companies anticipate that their collaboration will offer valuable potential. Magelan will extend its customer offering to include strategic licence management solutions, while Aspera will benefit from the business and consulting structures of the IT company.

Magelan has specialised in client and IT service management in medium to large-sized companies for 17 years. This includes IT asset management, which is the strategic management of hardware and software. “For a few years now, we've felt that IT departments have an increasing need for strategic solutions for software licence management that goes beyond conventional asset management.
