Dr. Matthias Vianden has over 15 years’ experience in the software industry and software research. He started his career as a developer and software architect. After 6 years, he joined the Research Group Software Construction (SWC) of RWTH Aachen University to complete his PhD together with the IT department of a large insurance provider. Matthias joined Aspera's development and product management departments in 2015. He further developed Aspera's development processes and architectures, with a focus on the SmartTrack Dashboard and SAM Intelligence. Besides his work, Matthias is passionate about professional show business and often found behind a large mixing console in front of various (rock) bands in the local area.
Robbie Plourde, SVP of Global Sales Engineering
Robbie is a charismatic IT Business Executive with a broad background in international business. In his Senior VP role at Aspera, Robbie is responsible for Global Sales Engineering activities and License Management program leader. He has led process improvement initiatives and developing solutions that enable strategic and operational business goals for over a decade. Robbie holds both (PCOLM) Practitioner Certificate in Oracle License Management and (PCILM) Practitioner Certificate in IBM License Management. In the past 16 years, Robbie has specialized in corporate License Compliance initiatives for Fortune 500 companies in Europe, Asia, and the US. He holds an MBA from Quinnipiac University where he graduated Magna cum Laude.
Christian Seeling, IT Manager
For more than 10 years, Dr. Christian Seeling has been committed to supporting Aspera’s customers in doing Software Asset Management. He leads the development of SmartTrack, the core product, with a focus on cost optimization and the cloud. He keeps close watch on how cloud products develop and translates customer demands into new features. Before joining Aspera, he was a researcher at the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft in Knowledge Management & Information Retrieval.
